A Middle Tennessee Christmas charity that gives each child four to five gifts and works to grant at least one wish from their letter to Santa. More than 8,000 kids served since 2012, and 700+ every year.
GALpr is led by Krys Midgett, a Nashville-born songwriter with a B.S. in Journalism from Tennessee Tech and nearly three decades of experience as a writer and promoter. She has spent her career on both sides of the story: making the music, and publishing the pages that cover it.
Krys publishes Life Between The Lakes magazine and Give A Little Nashville, which covers music, entertainment and community stories. She knows what an editor needs, because she is one.
In 2012, Krys founded Give A Little Christmas alongside Olivia West Hedges and Glenn and Dottie Tubb. What began as a Christmas party for 50 children has grown into a Middle Tennessee charity that has served more than 8,000 kids. Today it reaches more than 700 children each year with gifts and at least one wish from their letter to Santa, and this December marks its 15th Christmas. Krys has been named a Mt. Juliet Citizen of the Month and honored by the Mt. Juliet and Lebanon Chambers of Commerce.
